Now I'm almost certain I'm not going to be on dA much longer.

I've been having trouble clearing my messages, which is annoying in itself, but not that big of a deal.

Then this morning I went to remove one of their HUGE ASS adds and this thing came up, "U NEEEEED SPYWAIR PROTEKSHUN!!!!!!!" and skipped me to this fake page that looked like a "system scan". Except it wasn't. And now I'm hoping my computer isn't infected, because DeviantART site administrators are apparently pieces of shit that haven't done anything for site security.

That's happened before, never on a site other than dA, but it was for advertising sites, not some bogus system scan shit.

Fuck you dA owners, how could you let your customers be at risk.

The straw that broke the camel's back this morning was the atrocious "furry" art on the front page. So okay douche bags who don't know two shits about anatomy, facial expressions, or pretty much anything dealing with art, can get front-page material, but my friends, some of the hardest working artists I know, are still severely underrated. I didn't visit this person's page, but I'd be willing to bet they had anime in it. That would be the only explanation.

FA may be full of porn and furfags, but you know what. They're fucking hell of a lot nicer than the people here.

Not to say you guys are lame. The friends I've gathered on here are pretty much amazing. I love you guys, and you know that.

But the "popular" artists are terrible. I think it was WolfEden or one of those guys who says right on their page, "O NO ART TRADES BECAUSE MY ART IS BETTER THAN YOUR'S AND I DON'T WANT YOUR SHITTY CRAP". I can't stand it.

I'll deal with the porn.
